UOB Organizes 3D Design Training for “Municipalities and Agriculture” Staff

The Continuing Education Department at the University of Bahrain organized a training course to train a number of employees from the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture in 3D design skills.

The course aimed to provide participants with specialized knowledge and skills in the field of 3D design using SketchUp software. The training program included an introduction to the basics of using the software to create 3D models and graphics, and to build practical skills in modeling and editing.

The course also covered the explanation of the software’s basic and advanced tools, with a focus on architectural modeling and interior design, methods for applying materials and lighting, and the use of plugins such as V-Ray to produce realistic and professional designs, in addition to carrying out professional applied projects at the conclusion of the training program.

The course was delivered by Dr. Buthaina Abdulla, Assistant Professor in the Architecture and Design Department of the College of Engineering at the University of Bahrain.
