UOB Organizes Student Visit to Dar Al Manar For Parents Care

As part of its social and humanitarian role, the University of Bahrain, through the Community Service and Continuing Education Center and in cooperation with the Bahrain Teachers College, organized a student visit to Al Manar Home for Elderly Care, with the aim of promoting volunteer values and introducing students to the social, healthcare, and welfare services provided to senior citizens.

During the visit, students learned about the daily care programs and listened to an overview of the home’s working mechanisms. They also presented various cultural and entertainment activities that brought joy to the elderly residents and strengthened human connection and interaction.

This visit is part of a series of programs implemented by the University of Bahrain to develop students’ sense of social responsibility and reinforce values of respect and appreciation for the elderly, in line with the university’s mission to serve the community.
