UOB President Meets Newly Appointed VPs and College Deans
Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, congratulated the newly appointed Vice Presidents and College Deans following the approval of their appointments by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the UOB Board of Trustees.
Dr. Al Ansari expressed his sincere gratitude to the former Vice Presidents and Deans, commending their dedication and significant contributions to the university’s academic and administrative development.
The meeting took place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the university’s Campus in Sakhir, where Dr. Al Ansari welcomed both the newly appointed and former leadership members.
He extended his best wishes to the new appointees for success in their roles, emphasizing their potential to further enhance the quality of education, operations, and organizational excellence at UOB.
The appointments to leadership positions at the university included the following:
- 1. Dr. Hessa Jassim Al Junaid has been appointed as Vice President for Academic Affairs.
- 2. Dr. Esra Ahmed Wali has been appointed as Vice President for Partnerships and Development.
- 3. Dr. Ali Salman Ali has been appointed as Dean of the College of Science.
- 4. Dr. Abdulla Khalid Al-Jalahma has been appointed as Dean of the College of Business Administration.
- 5. Dr. Dheya Abdulla Al Kaabi has been appointed as Dean of the College of Arts.
- 6. Dr. Mazen Mohamed Ali has been appointed as Dean of the College of Information Technology.
- Dr. Hussain Mohsen Al Arayedh has been appointed as Dean of the College of Applied Studies.
