UOB Signs a MoU with Confucius Institute to Enhance Academic Cooperation

The University of Bahrain has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Confucius Institute to collaborate in shared academic fields and to provide Chinese language instruction for students of Diyar School.

The MoU, signed by Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain; Dr. Zhou Jian, Director of the Confucius Institute; and Dr. Julie Sprakel, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar School Kanoo, aims to enhance mutual cooperation in teaching the Chinese language and related cultural activities at Diyar School. It also covers the assessment of Chinese language teaching and learning, along with other academic exchange and cooperation programs agreed upon by both parties. These initiatives will be implemented under separate written agreements between the two institutions.
