UOB Staff Enhance Data Skills Through Spreadsheet Workshop

Staff members at the University of Bahrain participated in an interactive workshop titled “Data Analysis, Interpretation, and Visualization Using Spreadsheets,” designed to equip participants with practical skills for analyzing and interpreting data effectively using digital tools.

 

The session introduced university staff—including both academic and administrative personnel—to Microsoft Excel functionalities, data analysis methods, and techniques for visualizing results through charts. Participants also learned how to automate administrative processes using these tools to improve efficiency and reduce time spent on routine tasks.

 

The workshop was delivered by Ms. Fatima Abdulaziz Alshaer, a lecturer at the Bahrain Teachers College (BTC), and organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL).
