UOB Staff Explore Design Thinking in Education

University of Bahrain staff gained practical insights into applying design thinking methodologies in education during an interactive workshop titled “Design Thinking in Education.” The session focused on solving issues creatively and enhancing student engagement.

 

Academic and administrative staff learned about design thinking principles and practices as a transformative approach to teaching and learning. Designed for educators and curriculum developers, the workshop aimed to unlock the potential of design thinking in education. Participants explored effective engineering design methodologies and emphasized creative problem-solving.

 

The workshop was presented by Dr. Fatema Abdulaziz Qaed, Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the College of Engineering and organized by the Unit of Excellence in Education and Leadership (UTEL).
