UoB Staff Practice Data Protection Strategies to Streamline Administrative Tasks

University of Bahrain employees gained valuable insights into safeguarding their data during an interactive workshop titled “Efficient and Safe Use of Cloud Storage in Administrative Tasks,”

The session equipped staff with practical skills for uploading, organizing, sharing, and retrieving files efficiently. Participants also explored synchronization, backup solutions, and permission management to enhance data security and prevent unauthorized access or loss.

The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Fatima Abdulaziz Al Shaer, a lecturer at Bahrain Teachers College, and organized by the Unit of Excellence in Education and Leadership.

Designed for both academic and administrative staff, the training emphasized: file organization for easy access, secure document sharing with controlled permissions, and data protection measures, including backups and security features.
