UOB Students Explore Career Opportunities in Bahrain’s Tourism Sector

Students at the University of Bahrain learned about career opportunities in the Kingdom’s tourism sector—one of the most important and growing fields, offering diverse roles for various university majors.

 

The event titled “What Are the Career Opportunities Offered by the Tourism Sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain?”, explored the significance of Bahrain’s tourism and hospitality industry, the country’s plans to attract new tourists who have never visited before, the Economic Development Board’s role in boosting tourism investment, creating job opportunities for graduates, and leveraging global career prospects in the Kingdom.

 

Organized by the university’s Career Guidance Office, the seminar was led by: Issa Jaafar Mubarak, Director of Media and Communication at the Economic Development Board, and Rayan Yacoub Ahmadi, Director in Sales department at Address Beach Resort Bahrain.
