UOB Students Explore Self-Marketing Skills for Employment

The Department of Accounting, College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain, hosted a lecture titled: “How to Be Recruiters’ First Choice?”, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, presented by Taiba Mohamedi, Human Resources Officer at the Economic Development Board (EDB).

During the lecture, Mohamedi talked about the main aspects that can contribute to enhancing the attractiveness of employing a student, as well as the key skills that a student needs while applying for a job, and the positive behavior during a job interview. The lecture aimed to raise student awareness of employer expectations and strengthen collaboration between academia and Bahrain’s labor sector (public & private).
