UOB Students Explore Tourism Opportunities in Bahrain

University of Bahrain students attended an open seminar on the Kingdom’s potential to benefit from tourism growth, on Monday (14 April 2025). The session highlighted the sector’s economic opportunities and labor market demands.

Students learned about Bahrain’s key achievements in attracting tourism investments from major international companies. They also explored leading investors in Bahrain’s tourism projects and the resulting opportunities for graduates and citizens, supporting sustainable economic growth.

The seminar, organized by the University’s Career Guidance Office, featured: Issa Jaafar Mubarak, Head of Media and Communication at the Economic Development Board, and Ahmed Abdulhamid Fakhro, Senior Marketing Manager at Bahrain Marina Development Company.
