UOB Volunteers Join ISACA Bahrain’s Children’s Movie Day in Partnership with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation
University of Bahrain volunteers joined ISACA Bahrain in marking ISACA Community Day, an annual 24-hour initiative that unites ISACA members worldwide in community service. As part of the occasion, the chapter partnered with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) to organise “Children’s Movie Day” on 4 October 2025, which treated children under RHF’s care to a morning at the cinema followed by a lunch. The participation continued the frequent involvement of UOB faculty members and students in ISACA Bahrain’s national volunteer and outreach activities. The event aimed to give the children a memorable and joyful experience while reflecting ISACA’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility within the Kingdom of Bahrain. The University’s involvement reinforced its strategy of linking higher education with community engagement by encouraging volunteers to apply ethical leadership and civic empathy beyond the classroom. By working with a leading humanitarian institution, ISACA Bahrain and its university partners demonstrated how professional networks and academia can translate shared values into tangible local impact, advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
