UOB Workshop Promotes Positive Learning Environments

The university’s staff attended a workshop focused on fostering positive learning environments and addressing resistant behaviors that can disrupt teaching and learning,.

 

The workshop, organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL), included interactive activities to help participants understand different personality types and adapt their communication approaches, identify and manage resistant behaviors in educational settings, and develop strategies to maintain constructive learning atmospheres.

The workshop was designed for both academic and administrative university staff and was presented by Dr. Ghada Ahmed Jassim, Chairperson of the Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Arts and Dr. Mervat Isa Albufalasa, Associate Professor at the department.
