The Deanship of Student Affairs at the University of Bahrain, organized an artistic workshop titled “Voice Harmonies.” This initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to support student talents and develop their artistic and creative skills.
The workshop aimed to develop the participating students’ vocal abilities. This was achieved through training on optimal vocal control techniques and leveraging each participant’s vocal range via specialized practical exercises for vocal warm-ups and preparation for singing performance. The workshop also introduced students to the basic classifications of human voices and their specific terms for males and females, enhancing their understanding of vocal differences and how to utilize them in both solo and group performances.
The workshop was led by Saleh Essa, the Music Club advisor, who presented a series of practical vocal training exercises. It concluded with a collective performance of a number of national songs, fostering a spirit of belonging and strengthening the students’ national pride.
