University of Bahrain Showcases Practical Uses of Claude AI in the Classroom
The University of Bahrain held an online workshop on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, titled “Rethinking Participation and Feedback: Integrating AI into the Modern Classroom,” focusing on practical applications of Claude AI in educational settings.
The interactive session was presented by Ms. Tara Henari, lecturer at the College of Information Technology, who highlighted strategies to enhance student participation using Claude, while emphasizing critical and responsible use of AI and its pedagogical potential and limitations.
The workshop included hands-on activities such as exploring student feedback models, creating Claude-based learning materials, and designing interactive classroom activities and quizzes.
This workshop is part of a series organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL) at the University of Bahrain.
