Bespoke Workshops

Bespoke Workshops

This route offers short duration workshops, between 1 to 4 days, focused on specific topics related to teaching, learning and assessment in higher education. The topics vary every academic year and are chosen based on a questionnaire sent to academics at the UoB and on the results of student evaluation. They are held during the week prior to teaching and during the mid-semesters. The workshops for each academic year are posted on the UTEL website in September and a list is also sent to all academics via email. Academics are encouraged to select and register in any workshop they find addresses their developmental needs. Deans and Heads of departments may also nominate academics to attend these workshops. Upon completion of a workshop, participants receive a certificate of attendance.
